Currently 2015!

It's January 1st and time for Farley's Currently linky!

I think most of my current thoughts are self-explanatory, right?
I've already seen all of the Walking Dead episodes, but I like watching them again.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE winter break, this one especially. I got both kids to CLEAN out their rooms. My brother and his family were here for Christmas. And we were able to hang out with our best friends. We don't get to see them much once school is on. I really don't want this break to end!
I have to say there isn't much I want or need right now. Some new clothes would be nice though!

YES...I will stay positive at work. I PROMISE! I have to!

I'm hoping that MAYBE our new test (the FSA) will disappear! Probably not, right? A girl can dream, can't she?!

I'm wishing (and very hopeful) for a great 2015! I have lots to look forward to so I think the new year will be a happy one!

Thanks for stopping by, friends!

  1. Gina!! We are with you on this new standardized test! We think the unknown is just causing lots of stress and anxiety for teachers, kids and parents!! We can't believe our break is almost over. We go back tomorrow for a work day and then kids come on Monday!! I hear the walking dead is a great show. I really should watch it since most of it is filmed about 12 miles from where I live. Stay positive and enjoy 2015!

  2. I can't believe our break is almost over. How wonderful that you were able to get some things done that you wanted to do. I wish I could say the same! I teach first grade so I don't have to worry about standardized tests yet. But, I know enough about them to want to make them disappear too! I'll try and be positive and hope that those kinds of things that are out of our control will all work out for the best, somehow! Happy 2015!

  6. New testing to disappear...yes! I am an instructional coordinator, and it has been sooooo hard trying to stay positive with all of the "unknown" that will occur this spring. The teachers are stressed to levels I have never seen before. I hope it all passes quickly and the students perform wonderfully (because I know they have been taught by wonderful teachers). I hope you have a happy new year!
